The hardest tasks before any of us are to maintain the pretense that all is well; to act as a sleeping human; to interact with others who are still overwhelmed by the artifice of this world; to know what we know and to be unable to change things.

The disconnection from immortality…the ripping away of one’s full consciousness…the descent into childish behavior and shameful ego…the boredom and the loneliness…the desire to escape to a far away place and spend the last days in isolation…all of this is a very heavy weight which sits upon our lives but by far an even heavier weight burdens us.

It’s knowing that there is a place…

There is a place…
